Training
We offer training on a range of different aspects of mental health in different formats to accommodate the needs of levels of management in your organisation. Everyone in an organisation has a part to play. This training will give you a greater understanding of what mental health is, how to work with it and offer practical steps for prioritising mental health in your business.
Leadership Workshops
These are for Leadership, Boards, Senior Management and HR teams. These workshops provide opportunities for reflection, challenge current thoughts and attitudes towards mental health, and provide a greater understanding of how to make good mental health provision a core strength of your business.
As leaders, you create the values and working ethos of your business. This training will help you to better understand the vital role that you play, giving you a practical, professional and personal understanding of mental health.
Through these sessions you will:
- Understand and explore some positive and negative attitudes towards mental health and how these impact and shape our responses
- Develop a better understanding of what to look for, how to speak constructively with staff about mental health and how to act on these conversations in a meaningful way
- Know how to put practical measures in place that will be effective in your organisation and empowering for everyone
- See mental health in a different way, enabling you to feel confident about how to respond to challenging situations in a professional, empathic and supportive way
Successful Management Training
As managers, you are often the first to notice when something isn’t right in your team. This training will help you to feel more confident about approaching mental health issues in an empathic and supportive way, understanding where your responsibilities start and end, how to support people who are experiencing mental health issues and what help or support you can offer.
Through this training you will:
- Be able to spot the signs in people who are struggling with mental health issues
- Understand how to approach conversations about mental health with staff
- Be able to signpost staff to additional help and support
- Know how to manage the absence and facilitate a supportive return for staff who have taken time off work with mental health issues.
- Know what measures to put in place to support your team on an ongoing basis
This training is offered as a half or full day, depending on the needs of your company.
Employee Training
This training has been designed to help employees develop their awareness and understanding of mental health, offering practical approaches to managing their own and supporting positive mental health in others.

Starter Sessions
